ANTI WRINKLE INJECTIONS

For cosmetic purposes, Botox is used to relax facial muscles, reducing and eliminating the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Patients will notice a reduction in movement to the upper third of the face (Frown lines/Forehead/Crows Feet) resulting in an overall much smoother area. 

This treatment can also be used as a preventive method. We recommend regular treatments every 3/4 months for optimum results. Anti-wrinkle injections can also be used for numerous medical concerns such as: Teeth Grinding, Tension Headaches and Excess Sweating (armpits) Facial Assymetry, Headache relief & more. We accept medical referrals or self-referral for these conditions/treatments. 

The results aren't instant and take on average 2 weeks to take full effect. 

All Botulinum Toxin (Botox) procedures are carried out by registered medical practitioners.

Patients must be 18 years of age or over to have Botulinum Toxin (Botox).

  • HOW DOES BOTOX WORK?

    Anti-Wrinkle Injections work to relax the muscles by blocking nerve impulses that trigger the wrinkle-causing muscle contractions, creating a smoothed and improved appearance. All our Anti Wrinkle Injections are prescribed by our Medical Practitioners at point of consultation.

  • HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?

    Results can vary with each patient, but generally anti wrinkle injections can be effective for three to four months. 

  • CAN ANTI WRINKLE INJECTIONS BE USED AS A PREVENTATIVE FOR LINES / WRINKLES?

    Yes absolutely! Anti wrinkle injections prevent lines and wrinkles caused by muscle movements. It can reverse mild lines and also prevent them from developing. It is advisable to commence anti wrinkle injections before deep lines have formed as these are much harder to soften. 

  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS AFTER TREATMENT?

    The process starts working within two days of treatment. It does however take a full two weeks for the Anti-wrinkle injections to be fully absorbed by the muscles. It is at this point when optimum results are visible.

  • IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD AVOID DOING AFTER TREATMENT?

    Aftercare will be discussed in depth on the day of your appointment with our medical practitioners. We are always happy to answer any questions post treatment. 

  • HOW MANY AREAS WILL I NEED?
