TATTOO REMOVAL TREATMENT

The light from the laser works by passing through the skin and breaking down the pigment and ink particles from the tattoo. The body’s immune system then works to flush away and remove the ink fragments.

  • HOW LONG DOES TATTOO REMOVAL TAKE?

    This is dependant on the individual, some patients find that their tattoo starts to fade within three sessions. The majority of patients need around 8 sessions.


    Coloured tattoos tend to be more difficult to remove. Tattoos will generally fade more rapidly in the first 2-3 treatments and the subsequent treatments will reveal significant, but slower results.

  • TREATMENT SESSIONS

    We advise to wait at least six weeks inbetween sessions.

  • IS IT PAINFUL?

    Patients may find treatment uncomfortable and experience a stinging sensation. The skin may be sensitive after treatment therefore we advise using an SPF to protect the skin.
