If a second follow up treatment is required to remove the lesion, this is included within the price.

  • What's the downtime?

Occasionally, a blister might form and persist for up to 5 days.

It can take up to 14 days for the lesion to be removed.

  • What are the possible side effects?

You may experience temporary redness, blistering, scabbing, redness and pigmentary changes.

Both hypopigmentation and hyperpigmentation may occur after cryotherapy. Both generally only lasts a few months. Permanent colour loss can occur in dark skinned patients.

  • Is it permanent removal?

Yes, for the majority of lesions.

  • Does the treatment hurt?

Treatment is fairly comfortable and only lasts around 10-20 seconds. There might be a little residual stinging for a few minutes after treatment.

  • Will I be left with scarring?

Typically, it leaves the least amount of scarring of any form of lesion removal because it causes the least damage to the connective tissues. Temporary pigmentation changes may occur.
