FREQUENTLY ASKEDQUESTIONS
OUR MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Do I need to come for a consultation before booking in for treatment?
A consultation with our medical practitioners is always included within your appointment. We do
also offer separate consultation appointments if desired. Please get in touch with us if you would
like to arrange this.
- How many ml’s do you recommend for a first time patient interested in lip enhancement?
We recommend 1ml for first time patients for a natural transformation. This is because 0.5ml is
injected into the vermillion border (lip line) for definition and the remaining 0.5ml is used for
volume.
- Do I need a prescription from my doctor for your skin peels?
No, our medical practitioners will decide if you are suitable, and treatment will take place on the
day of your appointment.
- How long does lip filler last?
Lip filler on average lasts 6-9 months, we advise top up’s every 4-6 months to maintain results.
- What are the side effects of dermal filler?
The side effects of dermal fillers include swelling, bleeding, bruising, redness and risk of infection.
More rare side effects will be discussed in consultation.
- Who will carry out my treatment on the day of my appointment?
All of our practitioners are medically trained meaning your treatments will only be carried out by registered Nurses or Doctors. You have the option to select the practitioner you wish to have
treatment with on our online booking system.
- Do you have any tips for maintaining my lip filler?
Drink lots of water to keep well hydrated, avoid sun-beds and extreme heat. We recommend top
ups every 4-6 months.
- How many skin peel treatments do you advise for best results?
We recommend a course of 3 skin peels for best results, as well as maintaining a good skincare
regime after treatment. We have PCA products available to purchase from the clinic.
- What will happen on the day of my appointment?
Most people attend for same day consultation and treatment. You will be asked to fill out a medical
consent form. You will then be taken through into one of our treatment rooms for your consultation.
During consultation you will discuss your requirements and options with our Medical practitioners.
During this time we can offer bespoke advice and advise which treatment would suit your individual
needs. We will then apply a topical numbing agent to the area and discuss side effects and risks.
You will always have an opportunity to ask any questions you may wish. Once the treatment is
completed and you are happy with the results, our practitioners will provide you with in depth
aftercare advice which will also be forwarded via email. (Remember the actual injecting time is
quick and speedy, consultation and consent is the bulk of your appointment.)
- Is having dermal filler painful?
We use a numbing cream which is applied to the area - all our fillers also contains local
anaesthetic to reduce pain. Patients may feel mild to moderate pain. Some of our treatments
include the use of a Cannula, therefore cream is not required.
- When can I come back for a top up after having lip filler treatment?
Depending on individual requirements, lips can be reinjected after 2 weeks once they have fully
healed for patients who would like to add more volume.
- How many sessions of fat dissolving would I need for best results?
We advise between 2 - 4 sessions depending on the individual for best results. We do offer a
course of 3 treatments for £950, or 1 session is £400.
- Would Non Surgical Rhinoplasty treatment help to make my nose appear straighter?
Yes, this treatment aims to straighten and contour the nasal bridge. It is used to correct nasal
bridge defects caused by past injury or natural anatomy.
- Is there anything I should avoid doing after treatment?
Aftercare will be discussed in depth on the day of your appointment with our medical practitioners
and will also be sent via email after treatment. We are always happy to answer any questions post
treatment.
- What dermal filler do you use?
We use award winning filler from Teoxane range.
